Sameen, Control, Rivera and her men head out into the nighttime hallway, they are outnumbered and a shootout ensues. John shows up and saves Sameen, but Vigilance gets away with Control and Rivera. George Hirsch shows up and Root calls and says the Motorcar says Finch is in danger and Hirsch knows where Greer is holding him.
Meanwhile Frank, the leader of Vigilance shows up at Greer'southward and reveals he has kidnapped all of the Senator's colleagues. And, finding Finch there is just a bonus.
Frank started Vigilance after his brother Jesse killed himself in prison. The FBI used surveillance to monitor Jesse and found out he was the known acquaintance of a terrorist. After Jesse killed himself, Frank discovered his brother was innocent and the photos of him with a terrorist were actually photos of a human being he was sponsoring in AA.
Root'due south elite hackers have finished their work on the Sumaritan servers. She sends them on their way. John and Sameen arrive at the hangar where Finch was being held. Simply, he is gone.
